EXPERIMENTIERFELD at KLUCKYLAND WIEN
If you happen to be in Vienna today, I cordially invite you tonight to the Exhibition Opening of ”Experimentierfeld” 10th Anniversary at Klukyland @kluckyland_dnalykculk . I will be showing one of my latest works among a band of my favourite Experimental Artists in Austria.
The exhibition can be seen from the street day and night. Epidemiological situation permitting, the finissage (birthday party) will be held on Friday 30th of April 2021, from 18:00 PM. The date will be announced via social media.
On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, the artist-in-residence project series “Experimentierfeld” driven and directed since 2011 by @rainer.noebauer will show a selection of artists from the projects in Augsburg, Innsbruck, Linz, Aarau, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Montpellier and Glasgow. Some of the works on display were created during the projects or show themes that the artist is currently dealing with.

Un pequeño breviario de paisajes interiores, mitos, danzas, cantos, sofocones selváticos, mosquitos zumbando y un intenso olor a bagre y ají. Un diario en el sentido más amplio de mi tránsito por el río Magdalena, por el departamento del Huila en Colombia. El libro ha sido maravillosamente ilustrado por @somadifusa, diseñado por @sierralejandra e impulsado por Fanuel Hanan Díaz.

A mumbo jumbo fantasie to die for or to escape to, whenever it’s possible.

Durante el mes de Julio estaré co-dirigiendo el eje de reflexión ‘Fiesta-Futuro’ en el contexto de este inédito Laboratorio de Imágenes de Futuro a cargo de SensoLab (Laboratorio interdisciplinario de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Pontificia Javeriana) y organizado por Espacio Odeón.
Esta es una propuesta de cambio: viajaremos en el tiempo hacia un futuro festivo en los próximos 20 años. Trabajaremos desde nuestro presente y nuestras realidades, construiremos desde nuestra cotidianidad; imaginaremos otros mundos posibles, romperemos tradiciones, transformaremos un espacio y su significado y nos emanciparemos de la idea de un destino a través de la celebración de una fiesta, de la ficción de una común-unidad.

Tomorrow Thursday 3rd of November we are going to openly discuss the notion of fiesta -festivities, rituals and trances, ‘party’- in the Kunstuniversität Linz.
Fiesta is, with its rituals, gestures and symbolic objects a grammar which allows to formulate a political project: a politic of ecstasy where retribalization, primitivism, shamanism and global economy fuse together as a stage for ritual performances and molecular state resistance.

Hoy es un día cualquiera, a mediados de 2030 es una exposición, pero también un experimento artístico que da un salto en el tiempo. La pregunta de fondo es cómo será la vida, y cómo será el arte en 2030; y para ello nada mejor que trasladarnos al futuro.
El proyecto es una iniciativa del Colectivo SUR en coproducción con La Grieta, y quiere contar con la participación de artistas multidisciplinares, tanto emergentes como reconocidos, de todo el mundo. Los primeros serán seleccionados por medio de una convocatoria internacional, y la elección de segundos tendrá en cuenta su trayectoria artística futurista y, está condicionada a su disposición a colaborar en el proyecto.
